Daniel Garabedian specialises since over thirty years in advising and litigating in tax law, primarily for major corporations. He also acts as an expert in tax disputes and for the drafting of tax legislation.
He has been referenced for many years as Star individual in the Chambers Europe directory and as Leading individual in the other international legal directories.
He is a lawyer at the Supreme Court (avocat à la Cour de cassation / advocaat bij het Hof van Cassatie).
He teaches corporate taxation at the law and criminology faculty of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where he is the director of the Master in tax law.
He has published numerous articles and has given many lectures, in Belgium and abroad, on tax related topics.
He is a former member of the Permanent Scientific Committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and a former president of the Belgian IFA branch.
He holds a law degree (1982) and a special degree in tax law (1983) of ULB, and a Master of Laws of the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA, 1985).
